A series of tornadoes, confirmed by the National Weather Service (NWS), struck southeastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin on Friday. The violent weather system resulted in eight tornadoes, including an EF3 tornado with winds reaching 225 km/h. The storms caused significant structural damage and uprooted trees in several counties, although no injuries or fatalities were reported.
